Center for Molecular Medicine Cologne (CMMC)
The biomedical research and educational center, Center for Molecular Medicine Cologne (CMMC), is located withing the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science at the University of Cologne (UoC).
The CMMCs mission is diagnosis and treatment of many common health problems as well as to advance our current understanding of the underlying molecular and cellular mechanisms of human diseases as a prelude to improve prevention.
Prof. Cursiefen is member of the Executive Board of the CMMC and the Department of Ophthalmology is part of CMMC with several scientific projects:
